About The Caravan

Hi, I'm Charlene Fenton-author, storyteller, and creator of "The Renaissance Caravan". ​I write historical fiction, short stories, and true crime deep-dives that explore justice, resilience, and the untold stories of human experience. My journey into historical true crime began with the haunting case of Mary Bell, and grew through years of watching Law & Order: SVU and Bones, where I discovered my desire to pursue the truth through storytelling.

Along with this blog, I also have an online bookstore featuring my work and other stories that matter to me.​ But, "The Renaissance Caravan" is more than a blog- it's a mission. ​It's one thing to have a discussion around these injustices, but it's another thing entirely to do something about it to make it right.

- 10% of all blog subscription proceeds go to Helping Hands Korea, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting North Korean refugees and helping them start a new life. 

- 10% from every book sold of "Echos in Red: A Vigilante O.S.U Series" is donated to to an organization that not only rescues victims of human trafficking, but also is actively involved in law enforcement partnerships, prosecution, and global prevention of this happening in the first place.

Every story I tell -whether true or imagined- aims to shine a light in dark places and inspire action in the real world.

Each one is unpacked not just for what happened, but for what it meant—and what it reveals about justice, society, and silence....
